Zero has also undergone successful independent testing to their Z003R concealed manual flush bolt to performance standard BS EN 12051:1999. Zero had noticed BS EN 12051 being called for more often in specifications in recent times, so thought it was time that their flag ship flush bolt is tested to this standard.

Testing to BS EN 12051 covers important performance characteristics such as cycles, usage, corrosion resistance and security. After successful testing by Exova Warringtonfire the Z003R received a full classification of 3 3 – 0 1 3 2 to BS EN 12051:1999.

The Z003R is manufactured to ANSI standards (American National Standards Institute) which means fixing positions do not vary and they can be fitted to pre-prepped metal doors. It has a 265mm adjustable rod and is supplied as standard in a satin chrome finish.

The Z003R has also been included in a successful 4 hour fire test to BS476-22:1987.
