ZERO UP TO STANDARD! ISO 9001:2015

We at Zero Seal Systems are delighted to announce we have recently achieved ISO 9001:2015. The 2015 revision of ISO 9001 is less prescriptive than its predecessor, focusing instead on performance. This was achieved by combining the process approach with risk-based thinking, and employing the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle at all levels in the organisation.

ISO 9001 is the world’s most recognised quality management standard and helps us manage quality across all our operations by means of a Quality Management System (QMS).

Jim Craik, Zero’s QMS manager, says “ISO 9001 has been a huge benefit to our business since we originally achieved accreditation back in February 2015, both internally by assisting our existing systems and externally by providing a managed QMS system our customers can see. We were really keen to meet the requirements of the 2015 revision as we believe the new risk based thinking approach will further enhance our all-round service levels”.

Although it wasn’t required for us to achieve the 2015 version of ISO 9001 until September 2018, we have been working on achieving this revision for the last year to be able to achieve it as early as possible. If you require further information regarding our ISO 9001 QMS policy, please give Jim a call on 01785 282910 or via our contact form.
